Gabby travels from Baltimore to Boston each year. It takes him 10 hours to get to Boston. He stops 3 times, for an hour each time. If he only stopped once, is it reasonable to say that he could get there in 6 hours? Explain.

no. Even with no stops, it'd take 7 hours.
