Use the formula
y -y1 = m(x-x1)
You can use either point and the slope.
y - 4 = -2(x-2)
y-4 = -2x + 4
y = -2x + 8
Now this is in y=mx+ b form
the question wants standard form. Can you finish from here?
If point A is (2,4) and point B is (3,2) and slope is -2 what would the equation be in standard form?
