If AS , then
3x-1 - (-8x-3) = 2x+49 - (3x-1)
3x - 1 + 8x + 3 = 2x + 49 - 3x + 1
12x = 48
x = 4
check:
if x = 4, the terms are
-35, 11, and 57
and yes, there is a common difference of 46
3x-1 - (-8x-3) = 2x+49 - (3x-1)
3x - 1 + 8x + 3 = 2x + 49 - 3x + 1
12x = 48
x = 4
check:
if x = 4, the terms are
-35, 11, and 57
and yes, there is a common difference of 46
