Question
The artificial sweetener NutraSweet is a chemical called aspartame (C14H18N2O5).
(a) What is its molecular mass (in atomic mass units)?
294.13 u
(b) What is the mass (in kg) of an aspartame molecule?
kg
I was able to find the mass units but I'm having trouble finding the mass in kg I have came up with answer 4.887*10-25 and I have check other sources and that seems to be the right answer but my homework it marking it wrong. I used the coversion factor of 1.6605*10^-27. What could I be doing wrong or am I.

right on a. On b, you know one mole is 294 grams, so divide that by avagradros number. That will be the mass per molecule in grams. Divide that by 1000 to get kg.
