if the fans were sold for price x,
1.15x = .91(3605-x)
x = 1592.50
Check:
she bought one for 1592.50 and sold it at a 15% profit for 1831.375
she bought the other for 2012.50, and sold it at a 9% loss, for 1831.375
1.15x = .91(3605-x)
x = 1592.50
Check:
she bought one for 1592.50 and sold it at a 15% profit for 1831.375
she bought the other for 2012.50, and sold it at a 9% loss, for 1831.375
