f(x) = -2(x^2-x) + 6
= -2(x^2 - x + 1/4) + 6 + 2(1/4)
= -2(x - 1/2)^2 + 13/2
f(x)=0 when

(x - 1/2)^2 = 13/4
x = (1±√13)/2
