tanØ secØ - tanØ = 0
tanØ(secØ - 1) = 0
tanØ = 0 or secØ = 1
if tanØ = 0
Ø = 0, 180°, 360° ... , 180k° , where k is an integer
if secØ - 1
then cosØ = 1
Ø = 0, 180, 360 ... , 180k° where k is an integer
so Ø = 180k° , k an integer.
to find Ø in secØ = 2
I would first change it to cosine, since your calculator has inverses only for sine, cosine and tangent
if secØ = 2
then cosØ = 1/2
now you can do
cos^-1 (1/2) = 60°
