How many weeks does it take for a seed to start germinating? Does it depends?

Yes, different seeds take different times to germinate. The length of time also depends upon the temperature and other environmental factors.
Oh, ok. You're right. What if the seed is a marigold? I'm working on that one. Okay, thank you again Ms. Sue.
This site says it takes 7 days to germinate. Another site said 3 to 5 days.
