between the following communities:

-ethnic minority & ethnic majority
-religion and school
-(one of your own)

here is a different one that I did as an example. I just need help on the above.
example
-family and friends
-similarities- they about me and support me. they make me laugh. I support them. we share time and food together.
-differences-you can't choose your family. parents are responsible for me. friends may change. friends make me laugh and allow freedom.
-conflicts and reasons-I want to do the things my friends like not what my parents like. I want to spend time with my friends more than my family at times. friends think the same as me. this is because my parents are brought up in a different time to me. Parents thinks about my future. friends think about the present. my friends are brought up differently.

Usually they speak the same language.
Differences:
They perceive the other group as different.
The majority group has more members than the minority group.

Conflicts and reasons between ethnic majorities and minorities:

Some people feel threatened, spiritually, physically, or economically by the other group.
Past injustices may fester within a group.

A few years ago I read about an African immigrant who befriended another immigrant from the same country. A friend asked him about this relationship since the two came from different tribes which were antagonistic toward each other in their homeland. The first man answered -- but here (in the U.S.) it's different!
