I would just like someone to check my work and make sure I am doing it correctly before I continue.

f(x)=x^2-3x+5

1. f(2)

I got f(2)=-7

and g(x)=5x-1

1.g(-3)

I got g(-3)=-16

Thanks for any help!!

Wait, does that mean f to the x power or f * x? An you know your supposed to find what F and G are, right?
Answered by Reiny
no

f(2) = 2^2 - 3(2) + 5
= 4 - 6 + 5 = 3

g(-3) = 5(-3) - 1
= -15-1
= -16 --------> you were right with that one
