Can you give a step by step example of how to factor a perfect square trinomial? Please :)

Once you recognize that your trinomial is a perfect square, it is easy
e.g. 16x^2 + 40 x + 25
take the square root of the first and last term, and make that the binomial which has to be squared. Use the sign of the original middle term between them
so (4x+5)^2
mentally expand to make sure you get the middle term.
