Etruscan's influenced many things including Greek religion, trade, engineer skills, Greek alphabet, military, and Monarchical rule.

I think Nikki has it backwards ... the Greeks influenced the Etruscans when they migrated west ... then the Etruscans influenced the people around Rome.
