for your birthday party, you make a map to your house on a 3-inch-wide by 5-inch-long index card.what will be the perimeter of your map if you use a copier to enlarge it so it is 8 inches long?

Your original map is 3 by 5.

3/5 =x/8

Solve for x, then 2x + 2(8) = perimeter

The perimeter is 4.8 becuase i did
8(3/5) that gives me 4.8. ALWAYS do image over pre-image..

X=16 * 8/5 = 128/5 =25.6
