Mom in need of help!

The x-intercept of a line is -5 and the y-intercept of the line is -2. What is the equation of the line?
A) y=-5/2x-5
B) y=2/5x+2
C) y=5/2x-2
D) y=-2/5x-2

So they gave you two points
(-5, 0) and (0,-2)
so the slope = (-2-0)/(0+5) = -2/5

so in slope-yintercept form the equation is

y = (-2/5)x - 2
