First, subtract 3x from both sides.
6y = -3x + (-12)
Now, divide all by 6.
y = -1/2x + (-2) or y = -1/2x - 2
6y = -3x + (-12)
Now, divide all by 6.
y = -1/2x + (-2) or y = -1/2x - 2
