There are X number of leaves on a fig branch .two more than 0.25x is six.how many leaves are on the fig branch?

When it says more than it's addition so the equation is
0.25x+2=6

Then you subtract 2 from both side leaving 0.25x = 4
and then divided by 0.25 to get x by itself and then there's your answer!!
