I need help with subtracting fractions I have no idea if I'm doing it right.
Please help.
3/7-9/21
Fist you find a least common denominator, right?
So it's 21
Do you then multiply 3/7 to 3/3 so it will be 9/21
So, 9/21 - 9/21 = 1

        Please help.

2/3-1/16
For the LCD I got 96
So I multiplied 32/32 • 2/3 & 16/16 • 1/6
= 64/96 - 16/96
= 48/96
But I need to simplify that so
Then I divided 48/96 by 16/16
=3/6 divided by 3/3 = 1/3

    To start, 48/96 = 1/2
The lowest common denominator is 48
2/3 = 32/48
1/16 = 3/48
32/48 - 3/48 = 29/48

The lowest common denominator is 48
2/3 = 32/48
1/16 = 3/48
32/48 - 3/48 = 29/48
