Chantal has a flower bed. She has three types of flowers, Daffodils, Hyacinths and Tulips. She has 8 Daffodil bulbs, 10 Hyacinths bulbs and 12 Tulip bulbs. For every 3 bulbs that were planted, how many hyacinth bulbs were planted? Was it 1,2,3, or 5?

8+10+12 = 30
So, 3 bulbs is 1/10 of the total, meaning 1 hyacinth was planted
