Explain: When might you need to know the absolute location of a place? When might knowing the relative location be more helpful?

Draw Conclusion: What additional information can geographers gain by studying regions and taking a global perspective?

1 answer

The absolute location is necessary if you need to find a specific location. It's most often used when a person is looking for a particular building. The street address is necessary then plus when you're mailing a letter.

The relative location is more useful when you need to know what part of the world or of a country or of a state a particular city or river is located.

I don't know what information you have for the second question. What do you think the answer is?
