She is talking about the sexist language bias between egg and sperm that give the sperm an active role and the egg a passive one, which — from her data — seems not to be the case.

Our culture (and many others) has a male bias, negating the women and their roles (misogyny). She is pointing out how this relates to the reproductive processes.
