if you consider the "last" term as
x = √(2√(2√(2√(2....)))
then
x^2 = 2√(2√(2√(2√...))) = 2x
x = 2
x = √(2√(2√(2√(2....)))
then
x^2 = 2√(2√(2√(2√...))) = 2x
x = 2
