Is that CH3N=CHC(triple)CH?
Single bonds are sp3
Double bonds are sp2
Triple bonds are sp.
Give the molecular orbital description [e.g. sigma(sp3-sp3)] for each unique bond in the following structure.
CH3NCHCCH
I know how to draw the lewis structure and what a sigma and pi bond is, but I don't understand what the (sp3-sp3) part after the bond means or how you establish them.

Yes, it is. So for like the triple bond in these structure, I know there's two pi bonds, and one sigma bond. But then for like the C---H bond off the triple bond it says the answer is a sigma bond (sp-s) So I don't know what it means by (sp-s) since by my judgement that carbon is sp2.
