Two groups of people living in the same area might develop different cultures because culture acts as a blueprint for how a group of people should behave if they want to fit in with the groups.
Answered by Ms. Sue
Why would two groups of people develop different cultures or blueprints about how they should behave. Why don't the people who live in a specific area all have the same culture and expectations about how to behave?

I don't know. I suppose two groups of people living in the same area might develop different cultures because they may have developed two different societies.
