Missing information: presumably A, D, B are colinear.
For right angle XYZ, |∆XYZ|=(1/2)(XY×YX)
So:
|∆ABC|-|∆ADE| = (1/2)(AB×BC)-(1/2)(AD×DE)
For right angle XYZ, |∆XYZ|=(1/2)(XY×YX)
So:
|∆ABC|-|∆ADE| = (1/2)(AB×BC)-(1/2)(AD×DE)
