Can you please show step-by-step how to do this problem?
(4x^2 - x +5)/ (x^2/3)
(4x^2 - x +5)/ (x^2/3)

The way you typed it ....
= (4x^2 - x + 5) (3/x^2)
= 12x^2/x^2 - 3x/x^2 + 15/x^2
= 12 - 3/x + 15/x^2
if you meant for the last part to have an exponent of 2/3
(4x^2 - x + 5)/(x^(2/3) )
= 4x^(4/3) - x^(1/3) + 5x^(-2/3)
I am pretty sure the question did not say
"do" this problem, were you to simplify it or what?
