Question
Signal Phrase: Read "Too Much Pressure" by Colleen Wenke (564-568). Consider it a model for using signal phrases to introduce quoted material as explained on pages 508-512 of the Bedford Handbook.
1. Copy two good examples from Wenke's essay of signal phrases that name the author, title, and/or publication information to introduce the quote.
2. Then write a statement of your own about Wenke's main point which names her and her article in a signal phrase to introduce a direct quote (something she wrote, not something she quoted from someone else). Provide paranthetical citation for your quote.
