I am new to this graphing calculator. I input y=5^x and y=(5^x)-3 It is graphed with tables showing x=-3 y1=-374/125 and y2=1/125
x=-2 y1=-74/25 y2=1/25
my question is what is the relationship between the graphs. I am unclear on what the question is asking

if
f(x) = 5^x
and g(x) = 5^x - 3
is it not clear that g(x) = f(x) - 3?
The two graphs are identical, but are separated vertically by a distance of 3 units.
For x<=1 it should be clear. for x>1 the graphs are so steep that the constant separation is hard to see.
