                Can I get some help?
1. If v = (-5, -3), -5 ||v||^2
2. For the following vector v, find ||u||, the unit vector with the same direction angle as v. V = -25j
Does u = -j?
3. True or False: To graphically add two vectors, V+w, using the tip-to-tail method, place the tail of w to the tip of v

    1. are you saying ....
If v = (-5, -3), then find -5 ||v||^2 ??
|v| = ≤((-5)^2 + (-3)^2) = √34
so -5 |v|^2 = -5(34) = - 170
2. V = -25j
= 0i - 25y = (0, -25)
so |V| = 25
so a unit vector in the same direction of V is
(0/25, -25,25) = (0, -1)
3. obviously true by the definition of vector addition.
