I want to give my Algebra teacher a letter to show how much her effort on helping me learn made me appreciate her and I just want to know if this sounds okay.
Dear (my teacher's name),
I just wanted to take some time to express how much I enjoyed being in your class this year. You helped me achieve my goal of passing my Algebra EOC and I did it! But I couldn't have done it without your help. One of my favorite things about you is your dedication to your students and being able to count on you for extra help and clarification was really special to me and showed me how much you care about the happiness and success of your students. Thank you for a great school year and for always going the extra mile as a teacher. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.

It is fine as is. You are not trying to win the wordsmith award here, but convey your gratitude.
You could have stated I hope I get you as a teacher again in the future.
Teachers appreciate (and save student notes).

I'm going to high school next year so I wouldn't have her as a teacher again in the future.
