area of large pizza = π(8^2) = 64π
let radius of smaller pizza be r
2πr^2 = 64π
r^2 = 32
r = √32 = appr 5.65..
So to the nearest inch the diameter would be 11 inches
check:
one small pizza: π(5.5)^2 = appr 95
so two of them is 190
large pizza = π(8^2) = 204
