I worked this one 0.25/0.59 and got the answer of .42372. Could not find the formula to see if this one you added, multiplied, or subtracted the way it was written.

As you know, for independent events,
P(A&B) = P(A)*P(B)
so,
.25 = .59*P(B)
P(B) = .25/.59 = 0.42
So, you are correct. Surely the formulas presented clearly state whether to add, subtract, etc...
P(A&B) = P(A)*P(B)
so,
.25 = .59*P(B)
P(B) = .25/.59 = 0.42

I kept trying at first to one that said A or B not and then it would tell me it was wrong, so I thought I was using the wrong ones. Thank you
