Which of the following is NOT true of colligative properties? Colligative properties are...
A. dependent on the mass of solute present.
B. responsible for lowering the vapor pressure of a solution versus the vapor pressure of the pure solvent.
C. independent of the chemical identity of the solute.
D. dependent on the molar mass of the solute.
E. all of these are true.
i can't decide whether its e or c??? please help

a. does delta T depend upon how much material is there? I think it does. mols/kg
b. Does a solute lower the vapor pressure of the solvent? I think it does.
c. Does it matter what KIND of material we add. No, only the number of particles so it IS independent of the identity of solute.
d. does it depend upn the molar mass of the solute? I think it does. mols = g/molar mass.
so I would go with e.
