Mrs. Thomas bought 5 kg of flour. She used 1/5 of it to make muffins and 1/5 of the remainder to make cookies. How much flour did she have left?

2/5 of 5 is 2, so 5-2=3 left

Thanks, but the answer is supposed to be 3 1/5 kg. Not sure how they came up with that. I see where/how you came up with your answer. This Singapore math makes no sense!
