I'm having a hard time in math, and every time I start my test my eyes glaze over. Can anyone please help me out?

(9m+6)+(-5m-6)

(3r^2+7r+1)+(4r^2-8r-2)

(6h+1)-(9h+4)

(-7w^2-2w-1)-(-5w^2 +3w-2)

whenever you see brackets with no number in front as multipliers, imagine that you have a 1 in front

so the third one becomes

1(6h+1)-1(9h+4)
now expand it to get

6h + 1 - 9h - 4
= -3h - 3
