These are two LOOOONg problems.
I would use NaOH and H2SO4 to make Na2SO4.
I would use Mg(OH)2 + CO2 to make MgCO3 (which isn't one of the listed ways to make it).
I will leave the sub-parts ii,iii,iv to you.
