A 52 year old man suffers a pulmonary embolism that orignated as a blood clot in his right leg. Describe this condition and how it develops. Trace the pathway of th blood clot from the leg to the lungs..

This what I have so far I know what I want to say but it's not going so well

John Smith a 52 year old man suffered a pulmonary embolism that orginated as a blood clot in his right leg. This happed when he was patient at Columba hospital. Mr Smith has been on bed rest for a few days. One morning he had compliants of lightheadness pain and swelling in his right leg and a rapid heart rate. It was soon determined that Mr Smith had a deep vein thrombosis .This happened when a blood clot was embedded deep in a vein in his right leg. The clot blocked bood circulation through these veins, which carries blood from the lower body back to the heart. A blood clot broke loose snd traveled through his blood stream and cause a blockage of blood vessels other wise kown as the pulmonary arteries in the lung.
