put into standard form:

x^2/(1/6) + y^2 = 1
so, the major axis is vertical, and we have

a^2 = 1
b^2 = 1/6
c^2 = 5/6

recall that e=c/a

Given a,b,c you should have no trouble with foci and axis lengths
