A) If there are 850 initially, how long before there is a 1000?

B)How long for it to double?

P = Po(1+r)^t = 1000.
850(1.02)^t = 1000
(1.02)^t = 1000/850 = 1.17647
Take Log of both sides:
t*Log 1.02 = Log 1.17647
0.0086t = 0.07058
t = 8.2 Years
