i got it
- 3(2x - 5) = 7 - 4(x - 6)
distribute factors...
- 6x + 15 = 7 - 4x + 24
combine like terms...add (4x) to both sides, subtract (15) from both sides...to get
- 2x = 16
solve
x = - 8
- 3(2x - 5) = 7 - 4(x - 6)
distribute factors...
- 6x + 15 = 7 - 4x + 24
combine like terms...add (4x) to both sides, subtract (15) from both sides...to get
- 2x = 16
solve
x = - 8
