Two masses are slideing on a horizon frictionless surface. A 10 kg mass has a velocity of 9 m/s in the x direction and a 20 kg mass has a velocity of 12 m/s in the y direction .the masses collide and stick together, what is he final velocity of the composite mass? Draw and label the data presented in the problem

p=sqrt{p(x)²+p(y)²} =
= sqrt{(10•9) ² +(20•12)²}=256.32 kg•m/s
v= p/(m₁+m₂) =256.32/30 =8.54 m/s
= sqrt{(10•9) ² +(20•12)²}=256.32 kg•m/s
v= p/(m₁+m₂) =256.32/30 =8.54 m/s
