Lithium is a BCC Crystal
a = 3.5092 * 10^-8
Planar Density (001) (top plane) = 1/a^2
= 8.12 * 10^14
a = 3.5092 * 10^-8
Planar Density (001) (top plane) = 1/a^2
= 8.12 * 10^14

If lithium is a BCC crystal.
planar density is atoms per area
the 001 plane look like this
o--o
| |
o--o
the sides are equal to lattice constant a
and the atoms in this area = 4(1/4) = 1
