the bore of an engine cyclinder is the diameter of the piston and the stroke is the distance that the piston will travel up the cyclinder wall. The displacement is the volume of space that the piston goes thru. If the piston is 3.97" in dia. and the stroke is 4" what is the total cubic inch displacement for qn 8 cyclinder engine?
