Suppose that the test scores for a college entrance exam are normally distributed with a mean of 450 and a standard deviation of 100. If a student is selected at random what is the probability that

Z = (score-mean)/SD

Find table in the back of your statistics text labeled something like "areas under normal distribution" to find the proportion/probability related to the Z score.
