Question
Can someone give me an example of a statement in English representing an algebraic relationship.I have to create one but i don't know what this refers to.
Well it is just a written algebraic statement sort of like: a squared plus b squared is equal to c squared.
So what it refers is instead of using numbers or letters all has to be in words.
yes
Because this is what i in the first place I had:
SIMPLE PROBLEM: A DOZEN EQQS COST $1.20. WHAT IS THE PRICE OF EACH (1) EGG.
ALGEBRAIC REPRESENTATION OF THIS PROBLEM, QUESTION IS
12E=$1.20 OR 12 EGGS = $1.20 NOW YOU NEED TO DIVIDE 12 EGGS BY 12 TO GET 1 EGG WHICH SAYS YOU NEED TO ALSO DIVIDE THE $1.20 BY 12 TO MAINTAIN A BALANCED EQUATION.
12E/12=$1.20/12
1E=$.10 OR ONE EGG EQUALS $ .10
So what do you think or what should i had done.
LANCE ARE YOU AVAILABLE. IF I WANT TO USE THE PROBLEM THAT I SENT YOU HOW DO I WRITE IN ENGLISH ALGEBRAIC EQUATION OR DO I HAVE IT ALREADY.
