Can anyone tell me what happens when you do the diffusion lab? It is the one where you take food coloring and drop it into hot, cold and room temperature water and tell the differences.I need all the info.... please help.

I was able to see that the cold water took longer for the diffusion and the hot water was really fast. almost half the time.

I am assuming that it is because the molecules move much more quickly in the hotter water.

Am I correct?
