Answers

Reiny
4/1

proof:
let the radius of the smaller be r
let the radius of the larger be 2r

area of smaller = πr^2
area of larger = π(2r)^2 = 4πr^2

ratio of larger to smaller = 4πr^2/(πr^2) = 4/1 or 4 : 1
