1. since the lines are not parallel, they must intersect somewhere. And only one somewhere.
2.
(y-4)/(x-6) = 7/1
y-4 = 7(x-6)
3.
(y+3) = -3(x-4)
3x-y = -9
4.
y < -2x
y > 3x+5
-2x > y > 3x+5
-2x > 3x+5
-1 > x
x < -1, so (-4,1)
5. ?
2.
(y-4)/(x-6) = 7/1
y-4 = 7(x-6)
3.
(y+3) = -3(x-4)
3x-y = -9
4.
y < -2x
y > 3x+5
-2x > y > 3x+5
-2x > 3x+5
-1 > x
x < -1, so (-4,1)
5. ?
