We had to calculate the resolution between to peaks resulting from an HPLC assay using an internal standard for determination of an analyte "x". I came up with 2.6, which is considered good resolution. Now we are supposed to calculate the concentration of the unknown assuming the concentration of the internal standard is 1.00 mg/ml....
I am completely lost! Would it just be 2.6 x 1.00 mg/ml??
