Lois brought 6 gallons of milk for the soccer team they drank 10 quarts of the milk. How many quarts of milk were left over ?

1 gallon = 4 quarts
6 * 4 = 24 quarts in 6 gallons

very simple!!! they drank 10 quarts and in total we have 24 quarts because 4quarts=1 gallon therefore 6x4=24 quarts or 6 gallons.... subtract the amount of quarts they drank from the total amount of quarts which is 24... Answer is 14 quarts remaining
