(3x-2y)square=?

1 answer

(3x-2y)(3x-2y) = 9 x^2 - 12 x y + 4 y^2

You can use distributive property to get there if you do not know FOIL
3x (3x-2y) - 2y (3x-2y)

= 9 x^2 - 6 x y - 6 x y + 4 y^2

= 9 x^2 - 12 x y + 4 y^2
